Be prepared

Bring everything you need to survive for the weekend. Check out our doof shopping list. Store your car keys and wallet in a safe location and don't carry them in a loose pocket where you could lose them easily. Don't leave any lights on when you leave your car. Fill up on fuel before you go.

Look after yourself and others

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by pacing yourself. Less is more! You will thank yourself for it later. Stay cool and don't go too hard in the daytime when it’s hot. Stay hydrated. Make sure you get some sleep, rest and some food. Make use of care space and medical facilities if needed. Check out our harm reduction resources page.

Safe and sober driving

Please make sure you are well rested and sober before driving. Go slow on country roads and watch out for wildlife, rough edges, sharp turns, dips, bridges potholes etc. If you see wildlife on the road, do not suddenly brake or swerve. If going through a patch of water or mud, maintain a steady speed and momentum, don't slow down while crossing. When driving on site, drive slowly and watch for dogs and humans. Please be mindful that people have been injured or worse driving to rural locations before.

Consent and respect

In regards to consent, you may have one idea about something while someone else may receive or interpret it entirely differently. This is why it is very important to be polite and respectful of other people's boundaries. Be mindful of consent, especially when either person may be intoxicated and don’t touch people without permission. The same goes for aggression and hostility- no matter what negative state you may be in, we are here with a common respect of our fellow human, which means that it is never an excuse to take our your negativity on another person either physically or mentally. People are coming together to relax and unwind, so it is best to keep it friendly and respectful especially when you are first meeting someone. If you experience or witness anything that makes you uncomfortable, please report it to security or a member of the crew.

Leave no trace

Everything you take in with you, you also take out with you. Especially so for large items like tents and gazebos. Bring rubbish bags and use the bins provided. Don't drop small items like cigarette butts, bottle caps and nangs.

Leave your ego at the gate

The best possible outcome is if everyone collectively leaves their ego at the gate. Any adverse or anti social behaviour may result in the following:

  • Being asked to leave by security

  • Being banned from future events

  • Your details being recorded and shared with a network of promoters

  • Police involvement for any serious incidents

As we hold private events on private property, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the property or involve the police if necessary.
